We seek an energetic professional to support the attorneys and paralegals in meeting the needs and demands of the firm's Employee Benefits clients.
You will join a supportive, hard-working team of Employee Benefits professionals. With more than 40 attorneys and paralegals, Reinhart is one of the largest employee benefits practices in the country. Our work experience and our exceptional legal resources allow us to address the future needs and opportunities of our clients.
As part of the Employee Benefits team, some of the essential duties and responsibilities will include:
• Prepare correspondence, memos and other documents.
• Type from rough draft, handwritten and/or dictation into proper format including letters, memoranda, agreements, and other documents.
• Enter timekeepers' time entries.
• Proofread and edit for content, spelling, punctuation and grammar.
• Electronically file documents with State and Federal Courts.
• Process mail; route documents by U.S.Mail, e-mail, delivery services, fax, etc.
• Schedule seminars, make travel arrangements and complete expense reports.
• Obtain and maintain contact information.
• Open files and maintain filing in a timely manner (including electronic filing).
• Serve as administrative backup for other assigned timekeepers as needed.
• Perform general research for timekeepers, such as billing and invoice history.
• Perform limited Internet research.
• When requested, monitor timekeepers' e-mail, regular mail and/or voicemail (when timekeeper is out of the office). Arrange for appropriate responses whenever possible. Report responses/status of items to timekeepers.
This position requires superior administrative skills. You must be a professional with 3-5 years of administrative assistant experience. A Bachelors' Degree is a plus.

Physical Demands and/or Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to frequently use a keyboard, calculator, and telephone. Frequent sitting, walking, talking, hearing, and occasionally stand, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift (20 lbs.), and an ability to adjust vision for close vision work.
