Compensation: $60,000-$80,000

The job: 
As a Legal Operations Associate at Buildertrend, you’ll play a key role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal team. Your work will directly impact the success of our team, empowering them with the right tools, processes, and resources to meet organizational goals. Success in this role means enhancing our internal capabilities and making a tangible impact on the overall productivity of the legal function.

What you will do: 

• Own and continuously improve legal operations processes to ensure they align with Buildertrend’s goals and drive efficiency.

• Oversee the administration and performance of legal technology tools, including LinkSquares and e-billing systems, ensuring they are configured, adopted, and integrated effectively.

• Manage corporate governance, including global entity management, maintaining organized corporate records, and ensuring compliance with board documentation requirements.

• Provide transactional and paralegal support during acquisitions, financing, and corporate transactions, managing signature processes and supporting due diligence documentation.

• Build and maintain self-service legal resources to empower teams, reduce legal workload, and manage inbound legal communications effectively.

• Create and oversee reporting metrics for Legal team performance, efficiency, and OKRs to give leadership clear data insights.

• Lead special projects, including audits, regulatory inquiries, compliance tools, and corporate filings.

Who you are and what you need: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Paralegal certificate preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in a business environment, with preference given to candidates with previous experience in a legal setting (law firm or in-house legal team).

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and drive process improvements.
