Nelson Mullins is looking to add a Commercial Litigation Associate to its South Florida Commercial Litigation group in the Fort Lauderdale office. As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of a dynamic office.

Utilizing your experience in litigation and insurance defense litigation, you will join a tenured team that litigates complex business cases and represents various corporate entities. You are a junior- to mid-level associate with meaningful commercial litigation experience, and you feel confident in your experience taking depositions, drafting and arguing motions, conducting legal research, and managing discovery. You will be working on a team handling complex, high-stakes commercial litigation disputes, so you possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team while also managing multiple matters simultaneously and taking ownership of cases. You pride yourself on your strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of litigation experience; gained at a law firm
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Experience practicing in federal and state court

• Admitted, and in good standing, to the Florida Bar
