We currently seek an attorney with 3-6 years of experience.  Personal injury and litigation experience are preferred. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, who exhibits a strong work ethic and top notch legal competency (including above-average oral and written communication skills) to aggressively advocate for the needs of their clients.  A suitable candidate for this position is an active South Carolina Bar-licensed attorney who has completed all 403 requirements and is in good standing.  Other state licenses, to include Georgia, North Carolina and/or Florida is/are a plus.

Requirements
  •  Work diligently to see that our clients receive the best client care and excellent results.
  • Exhibit compassion and empathy when dealing with clients and demonstrate an ability to earn their trust, confidence, and respect.
  • Exhibit the ability to "take ownership" of files and timely and aggressively advance them toward resolution,  without cutting corners.
  • Experience drafting and answering discovery, and participating in trial and mediation preparation preferred.
  • Provide clients with frequent case status updates.
  • Communicate daily with insurance companies and other lawyers about the status of claims, demands, offers and litigation.
  • Exhibit, with training, the ability to effectively evaluate key elements of claims and lawsuits and to properly value those for purposes of advancing the clients' interests.
  • Exhibit, with training, strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to speak and/or read and write Spanish a plus.
