Investigator

Allen & Allen is seeking an experienced Investigator to provide investigation assistance to attorneys and support staff by helping to determine liability and provide proof and factual data to substantiate client claims to seek the best results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain liaison and positive working relationships with local and state law enforcement agencies.
• Conduct investigations of cases to include: Law enforcement, witness, and defendant interviews in person and via telephone, property damage and/or scene photos,
• Provide documentation of research and investigative results. Update records and notes in case management program appropriately.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation including visual aids such as demonstrative evidence, posters for jury instructions, enlarged photos, etc.

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal, insurance, or law enforcement field with significant exposure to personal injury issues including investigative procedures.
• Experience with fatal crash investigation and commercial motor vehicle investigation preferred.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Travels to branch offices or other locations related to cases, on a frequent basis.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• The ability to sit for long periods of time, occasional periods of standing and walking.
• Visual capability to work viewing a computer monitor for several hours of the day.
• The ability to exhibit manual dexterity and use standard office equipment such as phones, keyboards, and copiers for extended periods of time.
