
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Employment Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Employment/Labor law litigation and be passionate about advocating for clients' rights and interests.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate on behalf of clients in legal proceedings
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements
- Provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of legal matters
- Represent clients in court proceedings
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting clients' interests
Requirements
* Proficiency in PAGA, sexual harassment, discrimination based on race, national origin, age, sex, and disability, as well as family/medical leave issues, wage and hour disputes, and severance negotiations.
* Strong legal drafting and research skills
* Ability to interpret and apply complex legal concepts
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Familiarity with Lexis Nexis and similar legal research tools
* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
* Admission to the California State Bar as an attorney

Pay: $125,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
