Key Responsibilities
Scheduling and Case Coordination (50%)
· Coordinate and manage scheduling of depositions, expert witness reviews, client meetings, mediations, and court appearances for the medical malpractice group.
· Serve as primary point of contact with experts, opposing counsel, court personnel, and clients regarding scheduling matters.
· Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and reminders to ensure all critical dates are met.
· There will be a billable hour goal associated with the position that will be discussed in the interview.
Administrative Duties (50%)
· Maintain electronic and physical case files in compliance with firm policies.
· Prepare and process subpoenas for medical and employment records.
· Monitor case dockets and update team on case status.
· Provide legal administrative support to include expense reports, updating master case lists, uploading legal documents and medical records to iManage (electronic filing system), document preparation, assembly of workbooks, scheduling support for trial preparation, drafting correspondence and emails and other administrative tasks as assigned
· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a legal/professional environment. Legal assistant experience is preferred.
- Ability to be flexible to the needs of the firm based on events. May require some evenings and weekend hours at times
- Proficiency in Windows 10 and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Familiar and comfortable with video conferencing software (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, GoTo Meeting, or similar) – preferred but not required
