Law Clerk - Extra Help

Under general supervision of an assigned supervisor, assists attorneys with the performance of a variety of specialized administrative tasks, such as interviewing witnesses, legal research, and written interview summaries; assists in trial preparation; and performs other work as required.

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited school of law in good standing and must have completed at least one (1) year of full-time study. 

OR 

Graduation from law school AND meets the eligibility requirements to take the California State Bar Examination 

Valid California driver’s license

A valid driver’s license may be required at the time of appointment and employees may also be required to drive their own vehicle and provide proof of liability insurance as per Vehicle Code VC § 160020. Individuals who do not meet this requirement due to a disability will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  
  This position may require pre-employment drug test, physical examination, and fingerprinting for a background investigation.
