Position Overview

Nathan & Nathan PC is a family-owned law firm specializing in creditors' rights. We are in search of an attorney to join our team who brings a positive attitude and is self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Review client documentation for both intake and suit approval.
• Travel for court in TN a major focus.
• Review, amend and approve pleadings including motions for default, summary judgment and post judgment and update system of record for accurate status reporting to clients.
• Work with legal support staff to improve process and create workflow efficiency in high volume caseload.
• Maintain compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and client operating procedures.
• Attend hearings and mediation in various jurisdictions within Tennessee.

Requirements

• Tennessee Bar licensure (other state bars are welcomed(MS/GA/AL) in good standing is required.
• Experience with high volume case load is extremely helpful but we provide a supportive training environment if applicant does not have such experience.
• Fluency in Excel, Microsoft Office and overall computer use is necessary.
• Ability to pivot and accomplish multiple tasks during the work day is necessary.
• Must be able to work minimum 40 hours per week-Monday through Friday.
• No billable hour requirement.
