Duties The position is located in the Human Resource Management Division (HRMD), Bureau of Prisons (BOP or Bureau). The mission of HRMD is to oversee the development, implementation, and administration of Human Resource (HR) policy and programs addressing the needs of Bureau employees across all areas of HR management. The Branch Chief, Compensation & Benefits, serves as the Bureau's executive responsible for national program direction, governance, policy leadership, regulatory compliance, and enterprise integration of all compensation, pay administration, incentive programs, leave and payroll administration, and federal employee benefits programs. Reporting directly to the SES Senior Deputy Assistant Director for Human Capital Operations, the Branch Chief functions with wide latitude in determining national priorities, shaping policy direction, integrating cross-functional initiatives, and representing the Bureau in interagency forums concerning federal compensation, payroll, leave administration, and employee benefits. Salary- $150,359 - $197,200/year
