Candidates should have:
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the NYS Bar. Will consider a Recent Graduate awaiting admission.
• Strong knowledge of NYS Personal Injury Law and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, litigation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and client-focused approach
• A desire for a balanced and fulfilling career.
• Experience: years of demonstrated experience managing a full caseload of personal injury litigation, from initial intake through trial/settlement.
• Skills: Excellent negotiation, litigation, research, and communication skills.
• Case Management: Conduct thorough case investigations and develop effective legal strategies. Negotiate settlements with insurance companies to achieve the best possible outcomes. Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Client Focus: Advocate for injured clients by providing compassionate, responsive, and zealous representation.
Competitive Compensation and Benefits: We offer a comprehensive package, including Health Insurance, PTO, Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability, Paid Parking, Summer Fridays, Voluntary Benefit Options, cell phone allowance and 401k (subject to eligibility). Paid CLE’s and Bar Association Dues. Salary is DOE $60,000 - $90,000 plus performance-based bonuses. Attorneys with extensive experience in Personal Injury may be eligible for additional compensation.
