The Ohio Attorney General's Office is currently seeking a highly motivated, self-starting individual for an IT Project Manager 2 in the Information Technology Services Section to perform all activities relating to managing a successful project lifecycle for the office. This position will work a hybrid remote/in-person schedule. There may be changes to this schedule based on training and operational needs. The headquarter location is our 30 E. Broad Street Columbus, Ohio office. The successful candidate will perform the following duties while working in a team environment, which include but are not limited to\:
- Works to ensure all phases of project management are completed in timely matter and defines project requirements
- Acts as direct supervisor for assigned project staff; overseeing and distributing work for projects and subprojects
- Assists in implementing, monitoring, and making recommendations for modifications to policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Makes project presentations
- Addresses any problems found in testing/piloting
- Makes project presentations to educate/train end users
- Attends meetings, conferences, and/or workshops on related topics to stay up to date on new trends and information
- Additional duties as assigned

- Project Management Planning, Tracking & Reporting- Executive Reporting
- Task Management Tracking & Reporting- Dashboard Creation
- Managing Remote Teams
- Effective Executive Communication & Reporting
- Managing Multiple Teams and Aligning Plans (Dependencies & Conflicts)
- Effective Communication & Reporting across Teams
- Working as a Project Manager within a Large Program
5 yrs. exp. in project management (i.e., management & development of project/program requirements, design, development, testing/pilot, training & full scale implementation), with experience to be commensurate with project/program &/or position description on file; 18 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects.
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, public finance, public budgeting, project management, IT or related field of study; 18 mos. exp. as project leader, in position with experience commensurate to duties appearing in job posting/approved position description; 18 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating costs projections of program/projects.
-Or 6 mos. exp. as IT Project Manager 1, 64125AG.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
