Monroe County Community College is seeking a part-time instructor to teach Paralegal courses for the Fall semester. Lectures will be in an all-online format/ blended format/ in-person classes.
- Essential Job Functions
Typical duties include teaching Paralegal courses; keeping well informed with particular attention to the latest developments and current best practices in his/her/their subject area and teaching technology; assessing student learning and outcomes and assist in the assessment of the program(s); maintaining current class notes for the course(s) and to prepare yearly an up-to-date outline reflecting changes, if any; cooperating in the planning of departmental and, where appropriate, interdepartmental programs and courses; communicating with the community, high schools, other colleges and universities, and division team members; and, advising students.
- Requirements
Juris Doctor degree and an active license to practice law in one or more states along with demonstrated experience working with paralegals. Preferred qualifications include experience delivering instruction online and virtually. Teaching experience preferred.
