Transactional Associate Attorney

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the Denver, CO office. After one year, a hybrid remote schedule may be discussed.

Job Description

• Provide legal representation to homeowner association clients
• Draft and review contracts, easement agreements, governing documents, rules, licenses, and opinion letters
• Analyze statutes, case law, real estate documents, insurance policies, and corporate governance materials
• Perform legal research and issue well-founded legal opinions
• Attend board and annual meetings, including some evenings
• Communicate regularly with clients via phone, email, and in-person
• Participate in client education and business development efforts
• Handle real estate, nonprofit, employment law, fair housing, and contract-related issues
• Maintain accurate records and billing time

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Colorado
• 4+ years of relevant experience in real estate law, nonprofit, corporate governance, contracts, employment, or torts
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients with no legal background
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools
• Familiarity with legal billing and case management software a plus
