Our client is looking for a Contracts Manager to handle a wide variety of matters, including general corporate and contract-related responsibilities. You will administer, negotiate, track, and maintain all customer, partner, and vendor contracts, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational goals. This role is essential in supporting the Legal Department’s Strategic Plan and collaborating with internal cross-functional teams.
Who You Are:
You are a skilled contracts professional with experience in legal and contract management within a corporate environment. You excel at drafting and negotiating contracts, analyzing legal concepts, and managing contract compliance. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. You have strong interpersonal skills and can collaborate effectively across departments and teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Draft, negotiate, and execute standardized agreements.
- Develop and draft contract language to protect organizational assets.
- Communicate contract policies and requirements to internal managers and employees.
- Maintain and update the contract matter management database.
- Collaborate with internal teams to clarify and capture contractual terms.
- Research, develop, and implement processes to enhance contract administration.
- Monitor contract compliance, identifying necessary action items and reporting on terms.
- Support the General Counsel in creating dashboards and metrics.
- Respond to customer questions about contractual terms and service level agreements.
- Generate and deliver reports for internal, external, and executive reporting.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities and requires 0-10% travel.
What You’ll Need:
- JD degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of legal experience in a corporate contract management role.
- Experience analyzing RFPs, drafting agreements, and managing project proposals.
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with contract management platforms and processes.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
