The Paralegal provides comprehensive legal and administrative support across litigation, intellectual property, corporate governance, and contract administration. This role supports attorneys by managing case files, coordinating discovery and intellectual property matters, maintaining legal and contract management systems, and assisting with compliance and reporting requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, deadline-driven corporate legal environment.
This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Corporate Compliance and is based out of our Anoka office.
What you’ll do:
Litigation Support
Manage litigation files, including opening matters in Legal Tracker, maintaining electronic files, processing e‑billing, updating status information, and preparing monthly reporting and data analytics.
Create, distribute, and monitor litigation holds to ensure compliance.
Provide litigation support, including:
Drafting responses to discovery requests
Interviewing document custodians
Organizing document productions
Managing case files and timelines
Coordinating the e‑discovery process and assisting with document review and production
Intellectual Property Support
Assist with management of the company’s intellectual property portfolio.
Work with business units to manage annuities and renewals using the CPI database.
Maintain an active list of registered vs pending trademarks and keep the business updated when marks get registered.
Analyze trademark search results and brand protection reports for potential infringement risks.
Conduct preliminary trademark clearance searches and escalate findings as appropriate.
Legal Entity Governance
Support legal entity management, including maintaining corporate minute books.
Gather information and documentation needed to support annual report filings and other corporate governance requirements.
Contract Administration
Maintain and update the contract lifecycle management database (Agiloft).
Track contract deadlines, renewals, expirations, and key contractual obligations.
Under the direction of counsel, review, route, and mark-up non-disclosure agreements and other legal documents for internal approvals and signatures (e.g., DocuSign).
Administrative & Department Support
Perform administrative duties such as filing, preparing correspondence, processing travel and expense reports, and assisting with monthly reporting.
Assist with foreign visitor management; help gather documents for due diligence/sanctions, and otherwise assist in the company’s sanctions compliance program as necessary.
Provide general legal support on additional matters as assigned by attorneys.
Experience you bring:
Paralegal certificate or completion of relevant paralegal coursework
Basic knowledge of legal terminology, document formatting, and legal procedures
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within the role
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
You might have:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies (or other related field)
1–2 years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or legal operations professional in a corporate legal department or law firm.
Experience gained through internships, externships, or legal coursework
Familiarity with legal research tools, document management systems, or case management software
Exposure to corporate, compliance, litigation, employment, or regulatory legal work
Strong customer service mindset and professional demeanor

Work Environment:
Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided to all employees to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations.
Pay Range:
Annual Salary: $61,300.00 - $75,000.00The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
