
Job Title: Paralegal (Freelance)

Our work spans pop-ups, brand installations, and immersive campaigns for leading clients across fashion, food, lifestyle, and tech. We’re looking for a freelance paralegal to support our legal and business operations on an as-needed basis.
Role Overview:
Paralegal will work closely with our team and internal stakeholders to manage contract drafting and reviews, assist in legal compliance, and support client services agreements and scope of works. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, responsive, and understands the legal nuances of working in events and experiential activations.
Key Responsibilities:
Main focus is to review, redline, and help draft commercial contracts, including MSAs and SOWs
Support other contract needs as needed including but not limited to vendor agreements, NDAs, employment or freelance contracts, and more. ..
Ensure key business and legal terms are preserved in contracts throughout negotiations
Design and manage a quick-response contract review process, pulling in feedback and approvals from key stakeholders.
Maintain and organize internal contract templates and legal documents.
Coordinate with external counsel when needed.
Provide general legal and contract administrative support across departments.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably within a marketing, media, or advertising environment.
Experience owning the contract review process in a fast-paced services business.
Strong familiarity with master services agreements and scopes of work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with fast turnaround times.
Proficient in Google Workspace and contract management tools
Experience managing contract review in a services business
Paralegal certification required.
Nice to Have:
Experience with event and experiential industry specific terms and challenges
Previous experience working with creative or experiential agencies.
