We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support our estate planning practice. This role involves preparing initial drafts of estate planning and real estate documents, managing client communications, assisting attorneys with case management, and ensuring a high level of quality control throughout the client experience. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, team-oriented, and takes ownership of responsibilities from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Client and Administrative Support
- Draft engagement letters for new and existing clients.
- Communicate with clients regarding document preparation, information gathering, and follow-up matters.
- Serve as a point of contact to ensure a positive and professional client experience.
- Assist attorneys with case management and workflow coordination.
Drafting and Document Preparation
- Prepare initial drafts of estate planning documents, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, health care directives, and related documents.
- Prepare initial drafts of deeds and other real estate transfer documents used to transfer real property into trusts and other estate planning entities.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of supporting documentation for client matters.
- Incorporate attorney revisions and maintain accurate document versions.
Business Entity Support
- Assist with filing Massachusetts LLC formations and related registrations with the Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth.
- Assist with maintaining entity records and organizational documents as needed.
Quality Control
- Review final document packages for accuracy, completeness, formatting consistency, and overall presentation prior to client signing appointments.
- Ensure client documents meet firm standards and reflect attorney instructions.
- Identify and resolve potential issues before documents are provided to clients.
Qualifications
- Prior paralegal, legal assistant, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience with estate planning, real estate, or corporate filings is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Full-time 8:30-5:00 Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person, Quincy, MA
Salary range: $65,000. – $70,000. Final offer will be determined based on the candidate's level of experience and relevant skills.
