Job Description

Job Title: Senior M&A Attorney / Of Counsel

Location: NY, NY

Practice Group: Corporate / Mergers & Acquisitions
Class Year: 2015+ or Of Counsel-level

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Attorney to join our Corporate practice group. The ideal candidate will have significant experience advising corporate clients and private equity funds on a broad range of transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments, and general corporate matters.

This role offers substantial autonomy, high-level responsibility, and direct client interaction. It is an excellent opportunity for a driven, business-minded attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is seeking to play a key role in deal execution and client development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise corporate and private equity clients on M&A transactions, minority investments, and general corporate matters.

  • Lead deal execution, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents.

  • Effectively manage deals from start to finish, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors.

  • Engage directly with clients and provide strategic, solution-oriented guidance.

  • Contribute to business development initiatives and build long-term client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admitted to practice in relevant jurisdiction(s).

  • 10+ years of experience; Counsel-level candidates encouraged to apply.

  • Extensive experience handling complex M&A transactions independently.

  • Deep knowledge of corporate law, deal structures, and market terms.

  • Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and project management skills.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously and drive matters forward.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary Range: $470,000 and above (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
