Job Description

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Legal Operations Associate to support our dynamic legal team. This role is critical in keeping our operations running smoothly across the globe. This position reports to the Director of Legal Operations and works closely with our commercial attorney on a variety of matters—serving as the primary point of contact for our global commercial and corporate teams on legal operational needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Legal Department Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for legal requests, managing intake and directing inquiries to the appropriate legal team member.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding legal processes and procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver necessary materials to ensure timely and accurate responses to internal and external inquiries.
  • Prepare and provide training on legal functions and processes for our global team.

Contract Drafting & Management 

  • Manage template agreements and support contract drafting
  • Maintain organized contract databases, ensuring proper filing and documentation of agreements.
  • Collect, organize, and review due diligence documentation for third-party business partner approval and onboarding.

Legal Technology & Software Administration

  • Administer and optimize legal technology tools, including contract databases, diligence systems, and learning management system to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist with projects aimed at streamlining legal workflows and improving departmental processes.

Internal Auditing

  • Conduct periodic audits of internal policies, procedures, and operations to ensure compliance with legal regulations and company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred  (pre-law, legal studies, business/communications or other liberal arts degree encouraged to apply)
  • 0–3 years of relevant work experience
    • Internships at law firms or other corporations strongly preferred
  • Paralegal certificate is a plus, but not required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new legal tech tools
  • Motivated self-starter in a fast-paced environment 

Salary
  • $60,000 - $55,000/year
