Your responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights, hat includes submitting additional materials, responding to appeals, and getting additional information from the client to satisfy IP protection
  • Conduct research on current laws and regulations related to intellectual property rights
  • Assist attorneys with patent prosecution and litigation
  • Prepare and file legal documents, such as patent applications and copyright registrations
  • Coordinate with outside counsel on legal matters
  • Maintain and update databases of legal documents and docket reports
  • Assist with the development of company policies and procedures related to intellectual property
  • Prepare reports on intellectual property matters for management
  • Stay updated on changes in IP Laws and regulations

Your qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as an IP Paralegal with at least 3 years of experience
  • Knowledge of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets
  • Experience with document preparation and management
  • Strong organizational skills and strong  research skills
  • Multitasking skills with the ability to juggle deadlines at different stages of the filing process and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and legal management Software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and high service orientation
  • Paralegal certification or degree in legal studies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing legal landscapes
