Studio Distribution Services (SDS) is a joint venture between Warner Bros. Discovery and Universal Pictures. We are the leading distributor for the entertainment industry, responsible for the Sales, Retail Marketing, and Supply Chain of home entertainment products for both Studios.

We manage a wide range of famous film labels, including Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., Legendary Entertainment, Focus Features, HBO, DreamWorks Animation, MGM, Illumination
Entertainment…and also managing distribution for other partners including Paramount, Village Roadshow, BBC, Cartoon Network, Entertainment One, Shout! Studios, Pure Flix, and Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Partners.

SDS oversees new release and library content, for both film and television. Hourly pay:  $36.00 - $43.00

Role Summary:
The Coordinator is responsible for providing HR related duties as well as administrative support to the Legal Department and SVP Trade Marketing & Commercial Planning.


Essential Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Complete various onboarding and offboarding activities
  • Managing sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism
  • Acting as a trustworthy resource for employees and management
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance where necessary
  • Interact and maintain relationships with members of other SDS departments, Insperity, NBCUniversal, WBD as well as third parties
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc. and manage calendars for GC & SVP using Microsoft Outlook, Zoom & Teams
  • Maintain orientation information and perform orientations, as needed
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects and support other functions as assigned
  • Org chart maintenance
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reports
  • Process and administer invoices and payments according to contractual obligations and ensure timely and accurate processing
  • File, copy, scan, and messenger correspondence and documents
  • Maintain and organize paper and electronic files
  • Provide administrative support, and other projects as needed
  • Assist with tasks throughout HR department, including recruiting, event planning and activation, presentation creation and development
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably within a Legal or HR Department, or as an HR or Legal Coordinator
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Proficient in Office 365 including Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to adhere a high standard of professional conduct including maintaining strict confidentiality, good judgment and integrity
  • Require minimal supervision
  • Well organized with strict attention to multiple details and multiple tasks while minimizing errors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments
  • Ultimate team player who is willing to give assistance to co-workers and has a professional and courteous demeanor
