We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and proactive paralegal to manage cross-functional complex projects on a range of antitrust issues. Antitrust and competition laws are evolving rapidly, and this paralegal needs to be capable of working with the business and attorneys to ensure compliance while supporting business objectives. Our new team member must have a demonstrated ability to work independently when needed, as well as a proven track record of effective team collaboration. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer, who can communicate effectively with both business leaders and attorneys. A successful candidate will be ready to jump into action, working closely with attorneys and business partners to craft and implement creative solutions to complex challenges.

What you’ll do in your role.

  • Work with attorneys on a range of issues arising in the context of business transactions, mergers, and acquisitions, including preparation of HSR filings.
  • Manage workflows supporting the company’s compliance with consent decrees and other commitments with the government.
  • Develop, document, and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data collection, review, and production related to government inquiries and investigations relating to antitrust and unfair competition.
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, case roadmaps, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Collaborate with the business and other stakeholders, while building and fostering those relationships.
  • Skillfully and effectively manage outside counsel and vendors and related spend in a cost-conscious and budget-friendly manner.

The experience you’ll bring.

You’ll bring a solution-oriented attitude, a bias for action, the sophistication to interact with client teams at all levels and across different business functions, and a deep curiosity that drives you to dive into and help solve complex issues. The ideal candidate will also have some or all of the following:
 

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in the Paralegal field
  • 3+ years of experience in government or private practice working with antitrust agencies.
  • Understanding of the government investigation and litigation process and case management from discovery to trial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Excel, Power BI, and litigation support databases.
  • Expertise in process mapping, SOP development, and workflow optimization.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Detail orientation with a drive to get accurate and complete information to support informed decision-making.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong people management skills, with ability to work cooperatively and effectively on teams.
  • Appetite for innovation and aptitude for creative problem-solving.

    Base Pay Range: $33.38 - $60.21Corporate Bonus Target: 10%

    The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

    At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
