Position Overview
The Healthcare Attorney will be responsible for advising and representing healthcare providers, institutions, and organizations in matters related to regulatory compliance and defense. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of health law, strong analytical abilities, and a proven track record in compliance and litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to manage risk and ensure compliance with a broad range of healthcare regulations.
- Partner with various departments to ensure effective risk management and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Continuously monitor healthcare regulations, interpret complex legal requirements, and ensure ongoing compliance across the organization.
- Offer expert advice and strategic guidance to client business teams and leaders on navigating intricate legal issues related to healthcare regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to healthcare services, including service agreements, vendor contracts, and employment agreements.
- Conduct internal investigations related to compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.
- Support litigation efforts related to healthcare compliance issues, including preparing legal documents, gathering evidence, and representing clients in court or administrative hearings.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in New Jersey, in good standing.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Healthcare Law, with a focus on compliance and defense.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and defense strategies.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proven track record of handling complex compliance and defense cases.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and building strong client relationships.
Compensation Range:
$180,000 - $215,000 USD
Benefits: Full Time Employees and Part Time Employees over 30 hours per week
