The Crown Is YoursWe are searching for an Associate Corporate Counsel to support litigation functions on our Legal team. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally and play a central role in guiding decisions on various domestic and global legal matters. This is a highly collaborative role that requires outstanding core legal skills, balanced business and legal judgment, and a commitment to our shared growth and success.
Assist in fact-gathering, analyzing, and strategizing responses to lawsuits, demand letters, customer complaints, and other active and potential legal threats.
Draft and review court filings in concert with outside counsel.
Negotiate directly with opposing counsel to resolve threats where possible.
Work across multiple groups internally to proactively identify and guard against potential litigation risks.
Represent the company in small claims court where needed.
Investigate and respond to inquiries from regulators and the Attorney General’s office regarding customer complaints.
Support the business in responding to day-to-day threats and issues that arise and require an opinion on potential legal exposure.
At least 3 years of relevant litigation experience at a law firm; in-house experience is a plus.
A Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials.
Active membership in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar or the ability to be admitted as in-house counsel in Massachusetts.
A track record of a practical business and solution-oriented approach to resolving issues.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
The proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with internal partners, excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and influencing skills, with a strong emphasis on the ability to articulate complex legal issues in a clear and actionable way.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, good business judgment, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 141,600.00 USD - 177,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
