Commercial Litigation / E-Discovery Paralegal

Location: Tampa, FL 33602
Parking: Yes, 80% employer-paid
Work Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (7.5 hours/day)
Schedule: Hybrid (in-office/remote flexibility)
Salary Range: $70,000 – $85,000 per year (based on experience)

Position Overview

A well-established law firm in downtown Tampa is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation / E-Discovery Paralegal to join its team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with e-discovery tools and processes, along with a solid understanding of litigation support and document management. This position offers a collaborative environment, complex and engaging work, and the opportunity for long-term career stability.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with all aspects of commercial litigation, including case management, document production, and trial preparation.

  • Manage e-discovery processes from data collection through review and production.

  • Utilize e-discovery platforms such as Xera, Relativity, or Concordance for document review and case organization.

  • Maintain organized case files, prepare exhibits, and assist with filings in federal and state courts.

  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate document handling.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience as a paralegal supporting commercial litigation matters in a law firm environment.

  • Proficiency with Xera, Relativity, or Concordance software.

  • Strong understanding of the e-discovery process and litigation workflow.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Federal and Florida court rules and filing procedures.

  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate required.

  • Candidates should be career paralegals — this position is not suited for legal assistants transitioning to a paralegal role or individuals planning to attend law school.
