Join Selkirk Sport, a dynamic and fast-growing brand, as a Senior Paralegal focused on legal operations. We're looking for a tech-forward professional to streamline legal workflows, support strategic decision-making, and improve efficiency across the organization. You’ll be a critical partner to our General Counsel and outside counsel, helping scale our legal function with smart processes and modern tools.
What You’ll Do Legal Process Management & Triage- Own and manage legal processes related to contracts, corporate governance, employment, IP, real estate, insurance, and compliance.
- Act as the first point of contact for routine legal inquiries and triage matters to appropriate internal or external resources.
- Track legal matters, deadlines, renewals, and ensure follow-through.
- Partner closely with the General Counsel, in-house IP counsel, and a network of external legal advisors.
- Prepare summaries, evidence files, and clear scopes of work to keep external counsel efficient.
- Act as the go-to legal resource for internal departments, including Sales, HR, Marketing, Operations, Finance, IT, and Product—providing guidance and documentation support.
- Audit and redesign workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and support company growth.
- Develop internal resources such as SOPs, playbooks, clause libraries, and legal FAQs to accelerate response time.
- Administer legal tech platforms including e-signature tools, CLM, and matter management systems.
- Use AI tools for contract drafting, legal research, summarization, and knowledge management.
- Generate reports and dashboards that track legal volume, cycle time, and costs to drive efficiency.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.
- Maintain legal compliance calendars, filings, and insurance records.
- Support litigation holds, incident reporting, and claims management processes.
- 4+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal operations professional (in-house or law firm).
- Paralegal certificate or completion of ABA-approved coursework.
- Strong understanding of contract, governance, and compliance fundamentals.
- Proven ability to develop and implement legal process improvements.
- Proficiency with AI tools, CLM systems, and Spreadsheet + Word Processing Suite (i.e. Google Suite).
- Excellent project management, process improvement, communication, and organizational skills.
- Exposure to employment law or intellectual property matters.
- Experience in sports, technology, or consumer goods industries.
- Knowledge of international/cross-border compliance issues.
