Job Description
Corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities.
Duties Provides a comprehensive wound care assessment for patients referred for consultation, treatment, and management in order to identify wound etiology, formulate goals (healing, maintenance, stabilization, or palliative) and a plan of care in collaboration with the primary provider and the inmate. Formulate and recommend implementing a plan of care in collaboration with the provider or implement by an established protocol identifying expected outcomes for the treatment and management of wounds. Provides for evaluation of wound healing goals (healing, stabilization, or palliation maintenance) and individualized outcomes with plans for ongoing management with recommendations for continuity and/or consultation and referral/elevation of care as needed. Assist in in determining conditions, resources and policies essential to delivery of the health care services. Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis. Salary- $72,599 - $93,671/year
