Job Description

Duties Assists in the management of the Medical Center Biomedical Program in accordance with local, Federal, Veteran’s Administration, and Joint Commission standards and directives. Assists in the administration of the biomedical equipment records for repairs, service, and preventative maintenance program with a multi-faceted computerized safety tester/documentation system called Sentinel. Engages in or oversees the installation, maintenance, modification, trouble diagnosis, and subsequent repair of a wide variety of sophisticated and extremely complex electronics based medical equipment devices and systems used in the health care facility. Provides training and orientation in the diagnosis and solution of problems experienced in technical medical equipment. Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staffs correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis. Salary- $73,939 - $96,116/year
