Job Description

Snell & Wilmer currently has an opening for a Receptionist in our Salt Lake City office.

This is a highly visible role that requires a combination of focus, flexibility, and resourcefulness. This role requires an individual in the office daily with strong professionalism, verbal communication, and an amiable disposition. Primarily we seek someone with a great attitude, high energy, and solid work ethic.

This position is responsible for making an excellent first impression by welcoming clients and visitors to our office. The candidate must have the ability to work under pressure, respond quickly to changing demands and be initiative-taking with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a full-time, onsite position.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Represent the Firm’s professional image by maintaining a neat and organized appearance at the reception desk and surrounding areas.
  • Greet clients and guests and alerting appropriate personnel of their arrival.
  • Answer all phone calls promptly and courteously and take accurate and complete messages.
  • Escort or direct visitors and clients to conference rooms as appropriate.
  • Monitor visitors and vendors for security purposes and understand security procedures.
  • Maintain conference room and administration calendars.
  • Work schedule will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Additional expectations:

  • Deal professionally with both internal and external clients on all levels.
  • Communicate clearly, tactfully, and professionally with all attorneys, other employees, and visitors to the office.
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate mature behavior and judgment in dealing with delicate situations.
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in customer service. Law firm experience preferred, but not required.
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
