We’re planning an annual salary of $20.00 - $25.00, plus a 5% annual bonus tied to our firm and individual performance (an actual offer will depend on knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience).

What You’ll Do

As a Medical Liaison, you’ll support clients by ensuring they get timely, quality care by facilitating medical treatment plans, monitoring lien and billing activity, and ensuring communication between clients, providers, and legal teams. This includes tracking treatment progress, identifying case risks, managing provider relationships, and supporting business development efforts with medical partners and funding entities.

More specifically, you'll:

Client Care & Case Management

Collaborate in developing comprehensive case plans to ensure clients receive timely, quality medical care.

Communicate the role and lien funding process to clients, including discussions around injuries, treatment plans, and ongoing care.

Monitor client treatment progress, ensuring appointments are scheduled and care is continuous to help clients reach maximum medical improvement (MMI).

Track and verify medical bills and records from providers and lienholders to maintain accurate case documentation.

Medical & Legal Coordination

Underwrite cases by identifying potential red flags and communicating concerns to legal teams and providers/lienholders as needed.

Provide legal teams with regular updates on medical recommendations, treatment progression, and lien balances.

Monitor lien and medical balances to support fair settlements that cover accrued bills while ensuring clients receive a portion of the proceeds.

Provider & Stakeholder Relations

Manage relationships with medical providers by coordinating referrals, sharing relevant case information, and delivering timely updates.

Notify the Business Development team of provider-related issues, service gaps, or opportunities to expand the provider network.

Support business development efforts by engaging with medical professionals, clinics, and funding companies to strengthen partnerships.

Qualifications

What We’re Seeking

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Medical Liaison to support our clinical and outreach efforts. This role involves sharing accurate, research-based medical information with healthcare professionals and helping build strong relationships. The ideal candidate is a clear communicator with strong research skills who can turn complex data into useful insights that support patient care and align with our medical and strategic goals.

Education/Experience:

2-5 experience in case management, personal injury, healthcare coordination, or other medical support roles.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Strong understanding of medical terminology and treatment plans.

Familiarity with lien funding, medical billing, and legal case workflows.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, providers, and legal teams.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Proficient in case management systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with lien-based medical care or personal injury law.
