JOB DESCRIPTION: Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking an experienced and motivated Attorney who will play a pivotal role in advocating for our clients' rights and delivering outstanding legal services. In this position, the Senior Cousel will focus on environmental law practice as well as regular litigation in state and federal courts.
This position is based in our Denver office.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
$200,000- $250,000 annually
Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, taking, and defending depositions, and analyzing complex documents.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and complex motions.
- Perform legal research.
- Make court appearances as necessary.
- Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute innovative ideas.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on cases.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Active license to practice law.
- 10+ years of experience in complex litigation
- Environmental/ Toxic Torts experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe, Excel, Microsoft Office, Familiarity with E-Discovery and law programs such as, Sharefile, PACER, CaseAnywhere, Lexis, Smart Advocate, Everlaw, FileVine, OneLegal.
- A successful candidate will be detail oriented and organized, be a team player, be reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing several time-critical projects under tight deadlines.
- This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills.
