Director of Development and Growth

Accessia Health is seeking a Director of Development and Growth to lead fundraising and partnership efforts that fuel our mission of helping patients access the healthcare they need.

In this pivotal role, you will design and execute strategies to grow individual giving, corporate partnerships, and foundation support. You'll cultivate meaningful relationships with donors and partners, craft creative engagement opportunities, and ensure every fundraising initiative aligns with our strategic goals and values.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with a proven ability to inspire generosity and sustain long-term giving.

What You'll Do

Donor Development & Stewardship

• Grow individual giving programs, including annual fund, mid-level, and major donors.

• Create personalized cultivation and stewardship strategies to strengthen donor engagement.

• Oversee donor communications and recognition programs that deliver an exceptional experience.

Corporate & Foundation Partnerships

• Identify, cultivate, and secure corporate sponsorships, cause-marketing collaborations, and foundation grants.

• Develop tailored partnership proposals aligned with organizational goals.

• Partner with Marketing and Communications to create joint campaigns, visibility opportunities, and impact reports.

Strategic Fundraising Leadership

• Collaborate with leadership to design and execute an annual development plan with clear goals and metrics.

• Build and manage a strong prospect pipeline using CRM tools and data insights.

• Provide reports and analyses that track progress and inform strategy.

Events & Campaigns

• Lead donor events, briefings, and campaigns that inspire giving and amplify awareness.

• Work cross-functionally to ensure events are seamless, mission-aligned, and impactful.

Compliance & Ethics

• Ensure fundraising activities comply with all legal, ethical, and policy standards.

• Maintain accurate donor and contribution records consistent with data privacy laws.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in fundraising, business development, or corporate partnerships within a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.

• Demonstrated success in securing and stewarding individual gifts and corporate support.

• Experience managing donor pipelines and CRM systems.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

• A collaborative, adaptable style with a focus on mission and results.

• Experience collaborating with the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors is a plus but not required.

• Ability to travel up to 40–50% for donor meetings, conferences, and events.

Salary

• $90,000 - $120,000/year
