Insurance Litigation Attorney job

The Law Office of Julia J. McKee is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Insurance Litigation Attorney to represent clients in insurance-related disputes and litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, research, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills, along with a commitment to providing attentive and effective legal representation.

• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes and litigation.
• Review insurance policies, claims, correspondence, and related documentation.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Develop case strategies and evaluate legal and factual issues.
• Communicate with clients, insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, negotiations, and trial proceedings.
• Manage assigned cases and monitor important deadlines.
• Negotiate settlements when appropriate and advocate for clients' interests.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case records.
• Stay current on applicable Florida insurance laws, regulations, and court decisions.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Experience handling insurance litigation or related civil litigation matters preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent case-management and organizational abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and professional judgment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and legal professionals.
