
MDK, an innovative law firm, is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Legal Intern who is looking to gain first-hand experience working within one of our legal pods. In this role, you will learn internal and external systems, assist with preparing a variety of standard legal documents, ensure that all communications between clients, courts, and the legal team are handled efficiently, and more.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process legal documents with a high level of accuracy.
- Utilize case management system to ensure legal cases are progressing in a timely manner.
- Update client communication portals daily.
- Process mail received by the firm.
- Communicate with courts and clients to obtain information needed in a case.
- Actively work to become familiar with the entire legal process for all work performed by the team.
- Prioritize daily responsibilities to ensure deadlines are met.
- Other administrative support as needed.

Requirements:
- Requires a high school diploma and currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.
- One or more years of general work experience preferred.
- Basic skills with Microsoft Office.

Schedule & Benefits:
This position is expected to work in our Columbus, OH office 20-25 hours per week during general business hours, Monday through Friday. MDK provides a competitive salary along with a range of additional perks, including:
