Reports To: Partner

Salary: $160,000k+

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-starting Global Immigration and Mobility Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team. This role is ideal for an experienced legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and is passionate about managing multinational accounts and navigating complex immigration and mobility landscapes.

As a strategic partner to our global clients, you will drive legal strategies, oversee compliance programs, and coordinate with local counsel and on-the-ground immigration experts. Your role will be central in enabling talent mobility while ensuring adherence to international immigration frameworks and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of multinational client accounts with a focus on cross-border immigration, mobility, and compliance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, developing tailored immigration strategies aligned with their global mobility objectives.
  • Partner with in-country immigration counsel and local experts to deliver coordinated, compliant, and efficient immigration solutions.
  • Monitor global immigration developments, trends, and regulatory changes; provide proactive guidance and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Design, implement, and optimize immigration compliance programs and internal policies.
  • Draft and review immigration-related legal documentation, including petitions, applications, legal opinions, and compliance communications.
  • Provide training and strategic support to internal stakeholders and client teams on immigration best practices.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand service offerings within existing and prospective client accounts.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or international equivalent and admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
  • 5+ years of experience in immigration law, preferably with a strong emphasis on corporate/global mobility matters.
  • Proven ability to manage complex multinational accounts and interact with high-level stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of global immigration systems and legal frameworks (e.g., US, EU, APAC, LATAM preferred).
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously as well as collaboratively in a global, cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a law firm, corporate legal department, or global mobility consultancy.
  • Multilingual abilities or significant international experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with global mobility software and immigration compliance platforms.
