We’re a Social Security Disability law firm seeking motivated, detail-oriented individuals who are eager to make a difference and grow with us! This position can be in the office, hybrid or remote depending on location or employee.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and management of Fee Petitions at both the State Agency and Federal levels
- Manage Fee Petition process post-submission
- Assist with maintain the CRM database
- Make calls to SSA and Payment Centers regarding client payments and attorney fees
- Maintain contact with either the pertinent District Office for SSI or payment center for SSD to approved fee petitions at any level
- Data entry and report generation
- Send invoices to clients and manage all correspondence regarding invoices
- Manage client over-payments
- Any additional duties, as requested
Requirements:
- Associates degree and/or paralegal certificate or two years of relevant work experience
- Customer service skills and experience
- Experience with multi-line phone systems, Microsoft Office Suites and data entry
- Prior legal and/or Social Security experience is a plus
- Experience with Litify is a plus
