Administrative Assistant – Operations and Human Resources – Full Time, In-Office (Seattle, WA)

About the Role: 

GLP Attorneys is seeking an  Administrative Assistant – Operations and Human Resources to join our dynamic team at our Seattle Headquarters. In this full-time, in-office position, you will provide support across a range of human resources and operations functions.

  

This position will be physically located at the Seattle headquarters front desk and the first point of contact for all employees, clients, and visitors. Requirements

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Front Desk Operations: Greet and welcome visitors, employees, clients, and vendors. Manage incoming phone calls, mail and packages, and conference room reservations. Ensure the office remains organized and welcoming. 
  • Recruitment: Assist in drafting job descriptions, posting job ads, sourcing candidates, conducting reference checks, coordinating interviews, and managing the applicant tracking system. 
  • Onboarding Support: Prepare materials, schedule orientations, and ensure compliance with pre-employment requirements. 
  • Event Coordination: Organize logistics for training sessions, workshops, in-office events, and webinars. 
  • Training & Development: Maintain training records and assist with creating training materials and presentations. 
  • HR Support: Contribute to HR reporting, audits, and compliance tracking. Assist with administering performance reviews, benefits management, and offboarding processes. 
  • Administrative Support: Perform data entry, filing, and record maintenance. Assist with special HR projects and initiatives as needed. 
  • Employee Engagement: Support initiatives and programs designed to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture that supports our theme – People, Purpose, Passion! 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in administrative, human resources, or office support roles. 
  • HR Systems: Familiarity with HRIS or applicant tracking systems is a plus. 
  • Skills: Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. 
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism. 
  • Team Player: A collaborative, adaptable mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 
  • 1 year of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience required.

Compensation & Benefits: 

GLP Attorneys determines the compensation for positions using local, national, and industry-specific data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wages in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our firm. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Compensation will be based on the applicant's location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay. 


The non-exempt hourly range for an  Administrative Assistant – Operations and Human Resources in Western Washington is $23.00-$27.00/hour.
