Location: Florida [Remote- in Tampa, FL]
Position: Full-time, 32–40 hours per week
We are hiring for a client:
A growing Florida family-law firm seeking a dependable and motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career attorney who wants meaningful courtroom and client experience, practical mentorship, and the opportunity to grow with a supportive firm.
The right candidate will have prior law-firm experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to take ownership of assigned matters. Family-law experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned caseload with appropriate supervision
- Communicate directly and professionally with clients
- Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and help develop case strategies
- Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and other proceedings
- Track deadlines and maintain accurate, organized case files
- Provide timely case updates to clients and the legal team
- Record time and maintain accurate billing entries
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff
- Escalate significant legal or client issues when appropriate
Qualifications
- Active and in good standing with The Florida Bar
- At least one year of experience in a law-firm environment preferred
- Family-law experience is a plus
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent client-service and communication skills
- Reliable, organized, and attentive to deadlines
- Able to work independently while accepting guidance and feedback
- Available during regular business hours for court appearances and client needs
- Comfortable using legal case-management, billing, and time-tracking systems

Salary- $60,000 - $65,000/hour
