Job Description

  Job Duties
  • Prepare and edit client invoices following company and client rules
  • Handle electronic billing (e-billing)
  • Check billing data for accuracy, including time and expenses
  • Work with attorneys and staff to fix billing issues
  • Answer client questions about invoices and payments
  • Process write-offs according to company policy
  • Manage complex billing tasks (discounts, split billing, electronic invoices)
  • Handle a high volume of invoices each month
  • Communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients
  • Review billing documents for accuracy
  • Create new billing formats when needed
  • Help prepare monthly and quarterly billing reports
Required Skills
  • 3+ years of billing experience in a AM law 200 firm preferred 
  • Experience with billing software (Elite 3E, Aderant, or similar)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Flexible schedule (may include evenings or weekends)
