About the Role
The Legal Intern will support the Legal Department in its delivery of advice, counsel, and services to the business. At a high level, the Legal Intern will be responsible for assisting with reviewing agreements and marketing materials, conducting legal research, and working on special projects.
Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
- Drafts, reviews, and analyzes a variety of contracts, letters and memos
- Conducts legal and compliance research
- Generally assists with department initiatives and projects
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and codes.
- Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business need.
Factors for Success:
- Currently enrolled in a JD program, and has completed 1st or 2nd year of law school
- An undergraduate degree in a science-related field is preferred, but not required
- Interested in an opportunity to learn about the corporate/in-house legal and compliance function
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize as necessary
- Organized with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and re-prioritize according to changing demands

The expected hourly pay for this position is $44/hour for a graduate student.
