About the Role
As an Associate in our Ontario office, you’ll be cross-trained across multiple practice areas and gain hands-on experience in both transactional and litigation matters. You’ll work closely with a senior attorney who values mentorship and supports your professional development. The billable hour requirement is a manageable 1,680 hours per year, reflecting our commitment to work-life balance and sustainable growth.

This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday through Friday.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda
  • Prepare pleadings and discovery responses
  • Participate in depositions and court appearances
  • Draft professional correspondence and communicate effectively with clients
  • Support estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters from start to finish


Requirements
  • 2+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required)
  • Paralegal certification, Associate’s degree, or pending bar results considered
  • Strong understanding of legal procedures, terminology, and California courts
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Highly organized with strong document and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure
