Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support our IT Transactional Legal Team. The ideal candidate will assist with various legal and administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Our ideal candidate has an interest in contract law and IT-related legal matters and is able to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and editing contracts and other legal documents related to IT transactions.
  • Perform administrative tasks including opening and tracking of matters, account refills, processing of invoices, etc.
  • Conduct legal research and gather information to support the IT Transactional Legal Team.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.

 

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree. If you are an evening division law school student, 1 year of law school.

 

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000

The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
