Position Summary
• Seeking an HR Attorney to provide legal counsel on all employment matters.
• Responsibilities include advising on employment law, handling employee disputes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting HR and management with strategic legal guidance.
Key Responsibilities
• Advise management on employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Review, draft, and update company policies and procedures for compliance.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on employment litigation matters.
• Recommend resolution strategies for employee disputes and complaints.
• Negotiate and draft employment contracts, severance agreements, and related documents.
• Advise on disciplinary actions, terminations, and sensitive employment issues.
• Conduct training sessions for HR and management on employment laws.
• Stay current on employment law changes and communicate updates to leadership.
• Maintain and update the employee manual as needed.
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and Florida Bar License (required).
• 5–10 years of proven experience as an Employment Lawyer (corporate or business setting preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of employment laws and legal procedures.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
• Strategic thinking and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Spanish or Creole language skills are a plus.

$120,000 - $125,000 a year
