Role Description 

The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in construction and multi-party litigation matters in a full-time, on-site role based in Charlotte, NC. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and organizing legal documents, assisting with pleadings and motions, and managing case files and discovery materials. The role involves conducting legal research, reviewing documents for accuracy and relevance, and coordinating with clients, insurers, and other parties. The paralegal will help track deadlines, maintain litigation calendars, and support trial preparation, including exhibits and witness materials. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.

 

Qualifications

l Strong skills in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting and formatting litigation materials.

l Experience with Document Review, organizing and analyzing case records, and managing discovery.

l Proficiency in Legal Research to support attorneys in construction and multi-party litigation matters.

l Hands-on experience preparing Pleadings and Motions for state and/or federal courts.

l Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.

l Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.

l Proficiency with legal case management software and standard office applications.

l Paralegal certificate or degree in legal studies, and prior litigation paralegal experience preferred.
