Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate - Chicago

Troutman Pepper Locke's CMBS Special Servicer group within the firm’s bankruptcy and restructuring practice is seeking a creditors’ rights litigation associate to join its dynamic team in our Chicago office. While commercial litigation and bankruptcy litigation experience is welcome, the ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience handling all aspects of commercial foreclosures, receiverships, loan enforcement litigation, real estate-related litigation, guarantor lawsuits, post-judgment collection work, and bankruptcies, including motion practice, discovery (including e-discovery), and courtroom experience. The ideal candidate will also have experience with out of court workouts, settlement agreements, forbearance agreements, and ancillary litigation such as commercial landlord-tenant litigation.

Candidates licensed in one or more of the following jurisdictions are encouraged to apply: Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin; licensure in multiple jurisdictions is a plus. The associate must be in good standing in the state in which they practice.

The salary range for this position is $260,000 - $350,000, dependent on relevant years of experience.
