The AI Integration & Litigation Management Lead will support the advancement of Chubb's litigation management operations through the development and adoption of AI-driven tools and technology solutions. This role will serve as the litigation and eBilling domain expert on AI project teams, ensuring solutions are grounded in accurate data, sound business logic, and real-world operational knowledge. The role will partner closely with Litigation Vendor Management to drive AI tool development, validation, and adoption in support of Chubb's broader claims transformation agenda. 

Key Responsibilities 

Technology & Data Innovation 

  • Serve as a legal operations and technology subject matter expert on AI project teams, ensuring legal requirements and best practices are embedded in the design, validation, and deployment of AI solutions. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance legal technology platforms, ensuring improvements align with business needs and industry standards. 
  • Support enterprise-wide data integration initiatives, leveraging insights from legal, claims, and external counsel data to identify trends and inform strategic decisions. 
  • Monitor and evaluate emerging legal technology and AI trends, surfacing innovation opportunities to drive continuous improvement in legal service delivery. 
  • Contribute to project documentation, testing, and reporting for AI-driven initiatives impacting the legal function. 
  • Identify and escalate opportunities for process optimization within legal operations and law firm management, supporting prioritization and execution of AI integration projects. 

 

Legal Performance Management & Reporting 

  • Consolidate and analyze legal performance data (e.g., case outcomes, costs, cycle times, KPIs) to support decision-making and drive portfolio efficiency. 
  • Develop and deliver performance reports and actionable insights to internal stakeholders, supporting strategic legal and claims transformation initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine performance metrics and evaluation methodologies for legal service providers. 
  • Engage with law firms and internal clients to communicate findings and recommendations, focusing on continuous improvement and value delivery. 

Support analysis of panel selection and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of internal legal tools and processes



Qualifications

 

  • Project management or process engineering experience with a focus on AI integration preferred  
  • Bachelor’s degree required. JD, MBA, or advanced degree in operations, accounting, finance, data analytics, or economics is helpful. 
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging legal/insurance knowledge to inform technology and data initiatives. 
  • Proficiency with technology and data tools (e.g., Excel, dashboards, eBilling systems; T360 knowledge a plus). 
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application to business process automation 
  • Ability to participate as a subject matter expert in technology and data development cycles, translating business needs into technical requirements. 
  • Strong understanding of legal processes, procedures, and industry standards. 
  • Experience in performance management, defining service level and performance expectations, and data analysis within the legal industry, preferred. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. 
  • Collaborative, with strong communication skills and the ability to work across functional teams and with external partners. 
  • Limited travel. 

 

The pay range for the role is $150,000 to $186,900. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.  Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
