Position Purpose

The Business Intelligence Manger will lead a team of analysts who are responsible for overseeing the collection, storage, analysis and distribution of data within the Firm, primarily focused on generating reports and insights that inform strategic decision-making by extracting meaningful information from the data helping department leaders to develop forecasts and drive business growth. 

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain data governance practices to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Design and build comprehensive reports, dashboard and visualizations to present KPIs.
  • Analyze data trends and patterns to identify insights and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with various departments to understand their data needs and gather the necessary information.
  • Work with data management team / data warehousing to ensure necessary reporting tools are in place, and ensuring system functionality.
  • Work with Department Heads to establish and maintain capacity planning.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership based on analysis and reporting.
  • Leads Information Management and Reporting team, including hiring, onboarding, training/development and performance management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and query language (e.g., SQL).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights effectively.
  • Understanding of business processes and key performance metrics.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and database applications.
  • Experience in a production/manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Experience in a high growth company preferred

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related business field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a FP&A or Data Analyst role with progressive responsibilities
  • Minimum of 3 years management experience
