Schedule:

• Billable hours minimum expectation of 1,800, hybrid/flexible WFH schedule.

Salary:

• $145k - $165k+ commesurate with experience and annual billables bonus of up to $50k in bonuses + fully comprehensive benefits, healthcare coverage, PTO.

The firm has open positions for the following opportunity at their offices based in either Manhattan, NY; Long Island, NY; Florham Park, NJ; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; San Francsico, CA; or Houston, TX.

The practice centers on insurance, reinsurance, and various other matters spanning across transactional & regulatory compliance servicing sophisticated and bespoke institutional clients.

About the Role:

• Handle complex insurance coverage litigation, including commercial first‑party insurance, reinsurance, third‑party liability, professional liability, and bad faith coverage disputes.
• Take ownership of motion practice, coverage opinions, discovery, and client communications as part of a collaborative team in a nationally prominent practice.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school and above-average academic credentials.
• Admission to practice law before a state bar (NY/NJ/FL/TX/CA preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience in the private practice of law (10 years minimum for the Houston, TX office).

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Admission to multiple U.S. jursidictions (i.e. NY & NJ).
• Litigation experience handling insurance coverage matters, with substantial experience in all phases of litigation from pre-litigation management through motion practice and settlement or trial phase.
• Superb legal writing skill and forensic legal analysis and research proficieny.
• Clear platform for long‑term career development within a firm that is nationally and internationally recognized in insurance and reinsurance, and committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
