Job Description

The Senior Manager, Learning and Development (L&D) will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering learning programs, experiences, and resources supporting the continuous learning for professional staff at the Firm. Reporting to the Director of Learning and Development, the L&D Senior Manager will provide end-to-end learning solution support to professional staff client groups to drive learning initiatives and build critical skills and behaviors across the Firm. 


Responsibility
•    Partner with professional staff client groups on learning and development objectives.
•    Design and facilitate engaging learning experiences (live, virtual, and hybrid) for professional staff to achieve those objectives.
•    Design and curate learning resources to create, compliment and sustain programmatic and in-the-moment learning.
•    Leverage analytics to assess learning impact and optimize learning solutions.
•    Track and understand learning industry trends, tools, and techniques to design innovative learning resources and experiences.
•    Maintain a high level of operational excellence, implementing best-in-class practices across learning solution lifecycle and project management.
•    Perform other duties, projects and responsibilities as assigned

Education
Required
•     Bachelor’s degree

Preferred
•    Master’s degree or equivalent experience
•    Advanced degree in Organizational Behavior, Organizational Psychology, Learning Design, Learning Analytics, or Business

•    Professional Coach Certification

Skills & Experience
Required
•    7-10 years of learning and development experience supporting a diverse portfolio of client groups (e.g. Operations, Finance, Knowledge) in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
•    Internal corporate learning and development experience in a professional services industry
•    Demonstrated success partnering with internal clients to deliver best-in-class learning experiences and resources leading to impactful business outcomes
•    Ability to analyze data and metrics to identify trends, evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions, and make data-driven decisions
•    Team-oriented and collaborative approach, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with internal partners at all levels
•    Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
•    Strong attention to detail
Preferred

•    Law firm experience
•    Prior coaching experience in a corporate environment

Salary Information

NY Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $180,000 to $210,000 at the time of posting.

The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
